New Campus Gateway – Texas Wesleyan University — Fort Worth, Texas

Bennett Benner Partners is providing planning and architectural and urban design services for multiple projects at Texas Wesleyan University to create a campus gateway with clock tower, entry columns and fountain. These two elements will create an iconic image for the university’s new main entry.

This new entry will also serve as a catalyst for future development and help reenergize the historic Polytechnic neighborhood. The project includes renovation of an old fire station, which will serve as a business incubator for entrepreneurial start-ups.

Additionally, the firm has designed a new 15,000-square-foot, single-story office building, which will house the Methodist Convention and university staff as tenants. The design of the new building and the new entry gateway create an architectural language to knit together other parts of the campus to create a stronger visual identity for the university.
