Muckleroy & Falls Headquarters — Fort Worth, Texas
This growing construction company was in need of a new office that could provide room for growth and also serve as a real estate investment. Muckleroy & Falls purchased a site in the burgeoning master planned Edwards Ranch mixed-use development.
Muckleroy & Falls occupies a majority of the ground floor, reserving space for two small office suites that can be leased. A co-owner has purchased the top floor. The steel-frame building is clad in Texas stone veneer and stucco. To encourage interaction with pedestrians and street traffic, large areas of storefront glazing will be used. These windows, as well as a second-floor clerestory, will provide abundant natural light. Second floor terraces provide occupants on that level with outdoor space and also serve as a focal point on each façade. A standing seam metal roof reinforces the Texas Contemporary aesthetic. The sloping second floor structure is exposed, creating a warm and open environment for the software engineers that inhabit the space. Native, sustainable landscape surrounds the surface parking.
