Corporate Office Building – BNSF Railway —

In the latest of a multi-phased development plan for BNSF Railway Corporate Headquarters Campus in north Fort Worth, Bennett Benner Partners designed a new mid-rise Corporate Office Building with two wings connected by a conference center ‘knuckle’ building element. The building is a three-level, 164,000 of brick building with concrete-cladding increased the population capacity of the headquarters facility by 600 and adds a second conference center. The building includes an expanded corporate food service area with full kitchen, servery and indoor/outdoor dining accommodations. Materials were selected to blend seamlessly with the existing core buildings on campus and continue to project a subtle railroad structure vernacular. Existing buildings are accessible through an additional 200-foot long, elevated and enclosed pedestrian bridge with particular references to railroad infrastructure, raising the number of campus bridges to three. New surface parking, walking trail enhancements and a sustainable rework of on-site creek features further define the extension of the campus development to this site. Having been the BNSF corporate architect since 1988, Bennett Benner Partners continues to support the company’s corporate facilities needs through expansions and renovations on the 1.2M SF campus as well as other BNSF facilities across the Central and Western U.S.
