2800 Bledsoe — Fort Worth, Texas
Formerly an industrial building home to Fort Worth Bolt and Tool, 2800 Bledsoe was purchased by a developer to lease to multiple tenants as office and retail/restaurant space. Located in a bustling area between Downtown and the Cultural District, this area has undergone a transformation from a fading industrial zone to a vibrant urban mixed-use hub.
A primary goal of the project is to create interest through design of three separate facades and to add parking by demolishing existing metal buildings. The building’s historic façades were preserved and complemented by a new, modern façade to give the buildings character and enliven the street front through several new windows, which also serve to add daylighting. Native landscaping finishes the site.
